Maps’ testing will begin on Friday, April 26. Please make sure your child gets a good night sleep and healthy breakfast. We want them to be in top testing mode.
Thank you my 3^rd grade friends for the lovely WELCOME BACK cards. They made me so proud and happy to be your teacher. I am glad to be back with you!
MATH:

·        Measuring the area and perimeter of object.

·        Relating area to the operation of multiplication and addition.

On Tuesdays, we will have MM test on fluency of division. Fridays MM test will be multiplication and mixed number sentences. They will need to complete both multiplication and division as Homework over the weekend.  Please look at our Mitchell Blog under library to find many web sites that focus on math skills.
READING: 

·        Understanding information from multiple print or digital sources.

·        Integrating information on the same topic to be able to speak or write about subject.

·        Working on prefixes

·         Antonyms

WRITING:

·        Working on organization within our writing

·        Writing persuasive paragraphs.

INQUIRY:

·        Students exploring space.
