EVENTS:

Please label LUNCH Boxes, winter coats, boots, hats, mittens etc…Students share lockers and items are easily misplaced, so it truly helps having everything labeled.
Maps’ testing has started and your children are giving 100% to do their best.
MATH:

·        Multiply and divide within 100

·        Determine unknown whole number

·        Multiplying 3 digits numbers and understanding place values

On Tuesdays, we will have MM test on fluency of division. Fridays MM test will be multiplication and mixed number sentences. They will need to complete both multiplication and division as Homework over the weekend.  Please look at our Mitchell Blog under library to find many web sites that focus on math skills.
READING: 

·         Determine the meaning of words by using context clues.

·         Students are making inferences as they read and support with details from their stories.

·         Working on suffixes

·          Synonyms

WRITING:

• Working on organization within our writing
• Writing letters to our buddy class in Texas and Mr. King

INQUIRY:

• Students exploring magnets.
